THE SACRED SHELL

Within the pain, the tears, the fears,
The treacheries of life,
Lies hiden in a sacred shell,
A precious pearl delight.

Amidst the world it's color bear,
Obscured in myths and schemes,
It's rarity cannot be seen,
From torrents of shattered dreams.

Yet tis a light for those who morn,
Whose heart is grieved and pained,
Whose spirit is injured by the fall,
With bitterness and plague's.

For Christ has come for you my friend,
To fill you with His love,
To loose you from the grips of writhe,
And save you with His blood.

Yes, O the day has surely come
To give you recompense,
To relieve you from iniquity,
And free you from your sins.

Look deep within and you shall see
The Lover of your soul,
The One Who sacrificed His life
To make your body whole.

In this His love we're made complete,
Throughout eternity;
And brings to light what's hidden
With the Glory of His illumonsity.

Right now He stands awaiting,
For you His precious child,
To hold you and to love you,
And to Him be reconciled.

So wait no longer and rush to Him,
My lost and forlorn friend,
For His very life He has given you,
To bring your oppression to an end.

Let Him open up that sacred shell,
And receive the pearl within,
His gift to you of abundant life,
His peace, His heart, His kin.

Alas you'll know the Glory that 's
Reserved for you alone,
And He will rise with healing in His wings,
And carry you safely home.

THE DOOR

It's true our Lord has given us,
His peace to dwell within.
A gift, a very special one,
Unlike the world doth give.
And treasures, Yes, abundantly,
In heaven and on earth;
Abounding O so richly,
All His valuables and worth.
In all His rare simplicity,
Embracing in our heart;
Abounding in love and faithfullness,
Which never shall depart.
His peace and prosperity will abound
Till the moon is never more.
And all this shall be given
When we knock upon The Door.

WE NEED EACH OTHER

I once was like a coal
All lonely and dark
When Jesus came and touched me
With His Holy Ghost spark

Then I became an ember
Glowing with His fire
And serving the Master
Was my only desire

But as time went on
The assembly I neglected
And my spiritual life
Became seriously infected

As an ember burns out
If itís not with the others
Our spiritual life will also die
Without our sisters and brothers

For we must come together
As Godís family
And worship Him as one
In spiritual harmony

So forget the little differences
And forgive one another
For then the world will see Jesus
In the love we show each other

And as the day approaches
Of Jesusí returning
We need each other more
To keep the fire burning

So Christians every one
Letís walk hand-in-hand
Then with God we will conquer
This great and awesome land.

LORD YOU ARE LOVE

Lord you are love,
Peace and kindness too.
And in the dark and lonely times
I know that Iíll get through.
Because you hold me
Safe and calm,
Youíre there each time I fall.
You promised to never leave me,
When you died to save us all.
You said youíd always love me
And I know that this is true,
Because Lord, you are love.
Peace and kindness too.

HE LEADS THE WAY

He does not lead me year by year
Not even day by day
But step by step my path unfolds
My Lord directs my way.
Tomorrow's plans I do not know,
I only know this minute;
But He will say, "This is the way;
By faith now walk ye in it."
And I am glad that it is so,
Today's enough to bear;
And when tomorrow comes,
His grace shall far exceed its care.
What need to worry then or fret?
The God who gave His Son
Holds all my moments in His Hand
And gives them one by one.

OH HOW GOD LOVES YOU

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
He sends you flowers every spring.
He sends you a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He listens.
He can live anywhere in the universe,
but He chose your heart.
Face it friend, He is crazy about you!
God didn't promise days without pain,
laughter without sorrow, sun without rain,
but He did promise strength for the day,
comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Dear God,

I'm writing to say I'm sorry
For being angry yesterday
When you seemed to ignore my prayer
And things didn't go my way

First, my car broke down
I was very late for work
But I missed that awful accident
Was that your handiwork?

I found a house I loved
But others got there first
I was angry, then relieved
When I heard the pipes had burst!

Yesterday, I found the perfect dress
But the color was too pale
Today, I found the dress in red
Would you believe, it was on sale!

I know you're watching over me
And I'm feeling truly blest
For no matter what I pray for
You always know what's best!

I have this circle of E-mail friends,
Who mean the world to me;
Some days I "send" and "send",
At other times, I let them be.

When I see each name download,
And view the message they've sent;
I know they've thought of me that day,
And "well wishes" were their intent.

I am so blessed to have these friends,
With whom I've grown so close;
So this little poem I dedicate to them,
Because to me they are the "Most"!

So to you, my friends, I would like to say,
Thank you for being a part;
Of all my daily contacts,
This comes right from my heart.

God bless you all is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until we write again.

God Bless You

THE SON

JESUS COMES TO THOSE WHO CALLS,
BREAKING DOWN THE HIGHEST WALLS

WHEN YOUR DOWN AND FEELING ILL,
JESUS HAS THE STRONGEST WILL.

TO BRING YOU UP AND LET YOU FEEL,
THAT HIS LOVE IS REALLY REAL.

PUT HIS THOUGHTS APON YOUR MIND,
AND HIS WARMTH WILL BE SO KIND.

OVER WHELMED WITH HIM YOU"LL BE,
TOGETHER SEEING WHAT CAN BE.

WORKING TOGETHER AND NOT APART,
KNOWING HE IS WITH IN YOUR HEART.

WHEN YOUR HEART BEATS WITH FEAR,
ALWAYS KNOW HE WILL BE HERE.

JUST A SIMPLE CALL AWAY,
WILL MAKE YOU WAKE TO ANOTHER DAY.

CALL HIM IN TIMES OF GLORY,
NOT JUST WHEN YOUR FULL OF WORRIES.

REMEMBER HE IS THERE FOR YOU,
NOT ONLY WHEN YOUR FEELINGS BLUE.

EVERY BREATH ONLY HE CAN GIVE,
TO LIGHTEN YOUR LIFE AND LET YOU LIVE.

WITH HIS FATHER OF HOLY GRACE,
KNOWING WITH HIM YOUR SOUL IS PLACED.

TO BE AT PEACE AND GRADITUDE,
THROUGH HIS SON HE'LL BRING YOU THROUGH.
