I was appauled by the rumor and gossip that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married, and to make a book and a movie about it is outragously absurd. The Book and upcomming movie (now postponed) "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown is Ludricus and DANGEROUS. It's a satanic plot to deceive us into believing God is a con artist, unrighteous, and a liar. It's will cause you to disbelieve what is true, and you'll be wrestling with principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Indeed this farse of a so called movie will gain great recognition, not to mention the millions of dollars that will be made in regard to its mockery and wide renown antichristianism. Isn't this what every athiest has been waiting for, someone to come along and tell them they are right and the bible is wrong. Surely billions will line up to see this insulting imitation of the scriptures, and walk away confused. One man named Dan (who actually stole the material) , against thousands and thousands of Christians, surely has satanic powers which shroud the truth and everything it contains. A false prophet, yes indeed, teaching damnable heresies and seeking to deceive even the elect. In 2 Peter 2:1 he writes, "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And in Matthew 7:15 he says, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves". 1 John 4:1 gives us this good advise, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world". God warned us this would happen, but did we listen? Now, here it is, face to face, on this earth, satan and his demons seeking to devour you through false teachings so wrangled that bring such confusion we know not what to believe. Let's take a closer look at what Dan Brown failed to convey. Let's dissect the false so we can find the truth. But fist, we need to know who Christ really is before we can accept the truth. "IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself". John 1:1-2. Here we see that God is Christ Himself, and the Word is God or Christ, which simply means Christ is the Word of the Living Bible, the Gospel Truth. Jesus is the Christ and He is God who came down in the flesh of man. "He (God) appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory". 1 Timothy 3:16. And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth". John 1-14. "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth". Matthew 7:21. John 18, "No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known]". 2 John 1:7 warns us, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist". Matthew reveals this truth: "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect". And 1 Timothy 6:3-4 tells us, "If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions". Dan Brown's ficticions have caused much controversy, and controversy sells books. It has caused oppression in the church and strives to deceive even the elect. It's lies have provoked strife, malicious talk and evil suspicions. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". Has the Da Vinci Code, with all its deceptions given you peace. Surely one cannot believe Jesus was so deceptive that He gives us peace, then goes away leaving things hidden, hoping we'll never be found out. Let's take for instance, Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Leviticus 21:5-7 "Priests must not shave their heads or shave off the edges of their beards or cut their bodies. They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the offerings made to the LORD by fire, the food of their God, they are to be holy. They must not marry women defiled by prostitution or divorced from their husbands, because priests are holy to their God". Well, the marriage of Jesus and Mary obviously could not have taken place, unless of course He went against His own words and married a prostitute regardless? Scripture says "But He, [well] aware of their intent and purpose, said to them, "Every kingdom split up against itself is doomed and brought to desolation, and so house falls upon house. [The disunited household will collapse.]" "And if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom last? For you say that I expel demons with the help of and by Beelzebub". Luke 11:17-18. Believing Jesus married Mary Magdalene, one could not believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Nor could we believe in The Word of God, or in His righeoutness an goodness. We would come to conclude that God is a liar, going against His own words, that He divided Himself and that His kingdom no longer stands. If Jesus married the prostitute Mary Magdalene, He chose to oppose His own words and go against everything He said. Do you really believe Jesus, who loved us so much that He died for our sins, would deceive us this way? Indeed I think not. Scripture clearly says that if a Priest marries, she must be pure, kind and respectible. Yes you have been deceived, but not by God, by satan. I warn you to be careful in your beliefs, because Matthew said in chapter 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven". To disobediently Marry the prostitute Mary Magdalene, Jesus would have not done the will of His Father...He would have been weak in the flesh, not strong enough to save us from eternal damnation. He could not come live inside of us, and groan for us and take our prayers to the Father. He would have been unworthy of Himself. "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of Him who sent me. And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given me, but raise them up at the last day". This is the part that is so difficult for a person without spiritual life to understand. Jesus stated seven times in the Gospel of John that he came down from Heaven (John 6:33, 38, 41, 42, 50, 51, and 58). Jesus knew that He was both man and God in one person. He was truly man, but He was also the eternal second person of the Godhead who came down and took upon Himself a true human nature. Our Father God came down to earth to save us from sickness, disease, and death. Upon the cross, the Holy of Holies wall was shattered making Jesus the One and Only Priest...The High Priest. How then, God making Himself the High priest, could He refute everything He said in His word. The curtain (of the Holy of Holies] was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!" Upon the cross Christ became our High priest, never again do we need to take our prayers to another...now we can take them directly to God.

To become a Priest, 1 Timothy 3:1-3 wrote, "THE SAYING is true and irrefutable: If any man [eagerly] seeks the office of bishop (superintendent, priest, overseer), he desires an excellent task (work).

Now a bishop (superintendent, priest, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation but must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect and temperate and self-controlled; [he must be] sensible and well behaved and dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable and qualified teacher.

Not given to wine, not combative but gentle and considerate, not quarrelsome but forbearing and peaceable, and not a lover of money [insatiable for wealth and ready to obtain it by questionable means]".

Now, let's take this to a higher level.

God chose to come upon the earth to be your High Priest, self-controlled, sensible and well behaved, dignified and lead an orderly, disciplined life. To marry a earthly human, He could not have done the will of God, because God hates favorites and He is no respector of persons. He would not have chosen to love one above the other, and after all, He is already married...He is our bridegroom. He would not marry because He is already married...to each and every one of us who believes He is our Lord and Savior.

The Da Vinci Code is a mockery and accuses God of being unworthy, deceitful, and conniving. Listening to and believing these lies will leave you suspect to a life of utter chaos. But, you well know it is the end times...so why are you surprised.

How in the Name of Jesus could anyone who professes to Love Jesus if they believe He is so incredibly crude.

Jesus loved women, as well as men, but with a kind of love that the unregenerate carnal mind cannot understand. If you would like to understand, then accept the gift of pardon for your sins that He died in your place to give you as a gift.

Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb! Are you worthy?

Now let's take Judas...Jesus supposedly best friend.

Here again we have favorites. When I saw on TV the way they presented Jesus, whispering under His breath in Juda's ear, chidding with words of deceit to scam and ploy, I was appauled. That is not the Jesus I love and know well. However, it is the satanic demons who have set out to steal, kill, and destroy our spirit, our life and our soul.

If it were a plot for the Judas to betray Jesus, then why did Judas hang himself. It makes absolutely no sense. God said, "get wisdom, get understanding," to save us from such muck.

The Da Vinci Code will deceive you into beleiving that Jesus set Judas up to deceive Himself. How ridiculous. Being God, He didn't have to deceive His friend into making a mockery of himself, He moves mountains, and removes fig trees, and casts demonds out and into pigs.

Why would He have to create a con game to deceive all the people in the world? It was predicted in the old testament what was to come...Nothing could have changed that.

How nieve we can be when we're mad at God because we don't believe we have gotten our own way. It was we who chose to deceive, but since we cannot handle responsiblity, we take it out on the One who came to set us free. We place the blame on God.

Jesus loves you and to deceive, that is not love, that's hate. Believing anything stated in The Di Vinci Code, you will have fallen into a trap, and the only one who can save you is the One you threw away, the One Who is the lover of your soul Christ Jesus.

Have I read the book "The Da Vince Code"? Am I going to see the movie? Absolutely not. The money I would spend would be God's money, and to spend His money on a bunch of Hog Wash and lies about Him, I would be going against my better judgement. Plus, I could not bare to read or watch hours of misrepresenting and mocking who He actually is...I love Him much to much.

My heart goes out to Jesus for the mockery He must still endure. I myself will have no part in rejecting His words, nor the place of eternal hell that is set up for those who do not believe in Him and His word.

For Jesus Said, "This is My Father's will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day". Will you be raise from the dead and receive eternal life?

Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior?

Do you believe in His divinity, that He is actually the creator of the universe? Or have you been deceived by this mockery? The Scriptures of the Holy Bible tell us how we can recognize who is of God and who isn't.

1 John 4:2-3 - "This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world".

1 John 2:22 - "Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son".

2 John 1:7 - "Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist".

If you are not born again, then it would be very difficult to distinquish between the truth and the lies. "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot perceive the kingdom of God" (John 3:3).

Let's take it up another notch.

It is perceived in Leonardo da Vinci painting of The Last Supper that it is Mary Magdalene sitting next to Jesus, not John. So where was John, perhaps in the bathroom? Why was he excluded when he was one of Jesus' deciples.

Take a look at Leonardo da Vinci's painting of John, Here, does John not look like the person on the left hand of Jesus in the painting The Last Supper above? I do believe!!

Pretty much an exact likeness, don't you think. My view on this painting is that Leonardo da Vinci saw John as being a very humble, gentle man, which in today's world would seem very feminine, with all the machoism.

Certainly everyone sees things in different prespectives, but to perceive John as Mary Magdalene is definitely a misrepresentation of our Great Prophet, the prolific Gospel writer John's image.

I know many young lads who look feminine with their long hair, childlike faces, and like my brother who cannot grow a beard, but that does not make them a woman. Anyway, it's just a painting, it was drawn by imagination. Leonardo da Vinci has not actually seen John in person. It is not wise to make more out of it than what it actually is.

The 'Gnostic' Gospels

Sir Leigh Teabing, the theological gadfly in Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, makes several absurd pontifications. One of the worst is this: "More than eighty gospels were considered for the New Testament, and yet only a relative few were chosen for inclusion — Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John among them."He adds, "Constantine commissioned and financed a new Bible, which omitted those gospels that spoke of Christ's human traits and embellished those gospels that made Him godlike. The earlier gospels were condemned by our fathers. "Most Christians do not realize how much of Teabing's diatribe is pure fiction. Read online The Gnostic Gospels and the Canon of Scripture by J. A one-sentence description of Gnosticism: a religion that differentiates the evil god of this world (who is identified with the God of the Old Testament) from a higher more abstract God revealed by Jesus Christ, a religion that regards this world as the creation of a series of evil archons/powers who wish to keep the human soul trapped in an evil physical body, a religion that preaches a hidden wisdom or knowledge only to a select group as necessary for salvation or escape from this world.

The Gnostic gospels are writings by early "Christian" Gnostics. After the first century of Christianity, two primary divisions developed - the orthodox and the Gnostics. The orthodox Christians held to books we now have in the Bible and to what is today considered orthodox theology. The Gnostic Christians, if they can truly be described as Christians, held a distinctly different view of the Bible, of Jesus Christ, of salvation - and virtually every other major Christian doctrine. However, they did not have any writings by the apostles to give legitimacy to their beliefs.

That is why and how the Gnostic gospels were created. The Gnostics fraudulently attached the names of famous Christians to their writings, such as the gospel of Thomas, the gospel of Philip, the gospel of Mary, etc. The discovery of the Nag Hammadi library in northern Egypt in 1945 represented a major discovery of Gnostic gospels. These Gnostic gospels are often pointed to as supposed "lost books of the Bible."

There is a radical different between the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the 'Gnostic' Gospels. Like water is from dry land.

So, what are we to make of the Gnostic gospels? Should some or all of them be in the Bible? No, they should not. First, as we pointed out above, the Gnostic gospels are forgeries. The Gnostic gospels were fraudulently written in the names of the apostles in order to give them a legitimacy in the early church. Thankfully, the early church fathers were nearly unanimous in recognizing the Gnostic gospels as promoting false teachings about virtually every key Christian doctrine. There are countless contradictions between the Gnostic gospels and the true Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The Gnostic gospels can be a good source to study early Christian heresies, but they should be rejected outright as not belonging in the Bible and not representing the genuine Christian faith.

Conclusion:

If you decide to see the movie "The Da Vini Code" remember this: it is a fictional movie, and the book was simply a novel, based on man's facts, not upon God's truths. View it solely as you would view a fantasy, having no objective reality. It has simply been created from man's imagination, not God's revelations. View the movie as you would the movie "The Maltese Falcon" which leaves the audience with a distinctly down-beat conclusion and bitter taste.

If you haven't anything better to do with your time and money, then this is the movie to see. But, if you have a life and would like one more abundantly, then do something more productive with your time and the money you have worked so hard to receive.

If you decide to waste your money on this "Satan Code" use your money wisely and first get one or more of the books listed on this page so you'll not be deceived.
